Results & Productivity
Business growth needs care & attention. Tenacity, radical prioritization, and critical
habits reduce churn and increase impact.
Creating Healthy, Atomic Habits
We’re not just talking about creating goals or resolutions that end up lasting a few short weeks, then creating a sense of failure when we can’t stick to them. No way! We’re interested in creating sustainable positive changes that really stick!!! In this workshop, we move through guided exercises focusing on values, how to create healthy habits/break bad ones, and carve out the time, space, and motivation to keep our desired habits strong for the long term.
Empowerment Strategies
Empowerment Strategies integrate awareness and active choice over one’s own thoughts and actions. Empowerment relies heavily upon having a strong belief in oneself, a deep understanding of personal goals, and internal motivation to take necessary steps toward achieving those goals. We unlock the potential for Being At Our Best and personalize actions as part of a roadmap for growth in areas of self-motivation, self-determination, and self-confidence.
Focus and Finish: Prioritizing for your Talents and Energy.
This workshop is dedicated to helping people create new habits that support an organized system at work and in life. It covers many of the basic skills involved in organization and also adds new information to support the current reality of being connected to work 24/7. It is designed to support people who either don’t have an organizational system or have one that isn’t working well.
Get in the Groove - Resilience Strategies for Challenging Times
Now more than ever, we are being pushed beyond our capacity, even when we love what we do. Sometimes we compromise and give up the things we enjoy most to keep up. This approach can lead us to feel chronically tired and overwhelmed. So, what’s the answer to this dilemma? Skillful energy management. Because, unlike time, energy can be renewed and expanded. This powerful experience is based on over 25 years of work with more than 10,000 executives, managers, and individual contributors. This course is science-based, highly interactive, and engaging.
Interviewing for Teams, Promoting Positive Culture
Values are central to any company’s/group’s culture. It’s who a company is, what they want to achieve, and how they want to get there. Interviewing for culture fit can enable a company’s culture to continue to thrive by ascertaining whether a candidate embodies the values essential to the company ethos. Using the behavioral questioning format when asking cultural questions can facilitate mitigating bias.
An unbiased interview for culture fit starts with careful planning and creating well-crafted interview questions.
Interviewing for company culture must start with thorough preparation to be effective. Creating behavioral questions to ask each candidate is key. Interviewers must know which facet of culture they will focus upon. Before the interview, they must also determine the components of a good, excellent, or poor response. Team members can mitigate bias by asking the same question of each candidate and by rating answers consistently.
Mitigating Bias in Job Descriptions
Best hiring practices start with writing and publishing inclusive job descriptions. Unconscious bias can easily creep into job descriptions but can be mitigated with mindfulness and well-crafted words. This program is based on recent research about hiring a diverse workforce. All humans have an unconscious bias—it’s hard-wired in each of us. When unconscious biases or associations influence important decisions about the people we choose to hire, it negatively impacts recruiting and retention rates, productivity, innovation, engagement, and customer service.
SLII, A Situational Guide to Leadership
This workshop helps leaders learn to establish effective relationships that bring out the best in people - through reading situational cues and context, understanding individual development needs for a task, and then flexing to them. A Situational Guide to Leadership is invaluable in teaching leaders to behave in alignment with their teams and to help them make the most impact.

Change Acceptance and Acceleration
Change is one of those constants in life ... a force of nature that prompts us to learn and grow, to pause and plan. We can take stock in what is currently working, what is not working, and what needs an extra boost of energy to work more smoothly. We get to identify what needs to shift and Create the Change we wish to see ... for ourselves, for our teams, and for our collective vision of what is possible for the future.
Effective Meetings
Effective Meetings is a course designed to identify key meeting types and outline what is needed for each to ensure maximum efficacy for hosts and participants. We will practice designing how to lead and organize meetings that serve a distinct purpose between information-sharing, team bonding, brainstorming, decision-making, and/or action reviews. Get ready to roll up your sleeves and understand what works and doesn’t work around meetings and how you can become a Meetings Master!
Mindfulness
Why is everyone talking about Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and why are so many corporations promoting it as part of their wellness program? In this workshop, participants learn what mindfulness is, how it "works," the research behind it, and how to use it. This is a one-session introductory workshop, followed by optional (transformational) 4, 8, or ongoing session workshops.
Coaching for Insights and Creativity
Coaching for Insights and Creativity is a course designed to promote the generation of insights, whether managing a direct report, working with a peer, or teaming with a cross-functional partner. In this half-day workshop, participants will understand the basic skills of empowering workers to take risks for greater creativity. This workshop heavily emphasizes the difference between coaching versus giving advice, commands, or directives.
Leading with Accountability and Autonomy
In this workshop, participants will define accountability, identify personal, professional, and environmental obstacles, and learn tools to initiate and manage expectations to create a culture of accountability in others. They will also dive into the psychological aspects of managing driven, high-achieving individuals in a way that allows them to thrive, elevating the whole team and its impact. Finally, they will work together to design a handbook of considerations when determining the risks/rewards of autonomy & accountability in various situations.
TILT Strategies for Teams
Innovation warrants the need for independent teams that can make and implement decisions fast. When the leaders and members of teams better understand how to manage their dynamics to fit the situation, they can become generative. That is, their productivity, creativity, and innovation increase exponentially. Tilt enables individuals and teams to become generative by creating healthy, innovative climates that keep the focus on generative results.
True Courage
In this workshop, you'll learn what makes great leaders—from a place of courage, resilience, and vulnerability. We study how perfectionism, shame, or "little head voices" can stop us from living the purposeful and fulfilling life we want. You'll learn an in-depth model that explores fears and anxieties and translates them into confidence and direction.
Communication
& Conflict
Communication & Conflict
Learning the art of regular, productive, and action-oriented conversations
is key to business growth, flexibility, and an engaged workforce.
Building Value Through Negotiation
Good negotiation should build relationships, not destroy them. The old win/win adage holds true and
delivers both parties long-term, mutually beneficial outcomes. But the difference between a reasonable negotiator and an outstanding negotiator is the ability to maximize your win while the other party walks away satisfied. In “Building Value with Negotiation,” we learn how to reach the best possible outcome from our negotiations and maintain the valuable relationships we have with clients, partners, or colleagues.
Cultivating a Growth Mindset
Cultivating a Growth Mindset is a workshop focusing on the needs in an ever-changing work environment: the need for a growth mindset to continue to learn and grow. To thrive in one’s career and adapt to the challenges of the modern workplace, the principles and practice of having a Growth Mindset is essential. Participants who take this course will walk away with tools to understand the importance of a growth vs. fixed mindset and ways to cultivate a personal growth mindset amid setbacks and contribute positively to a growth mindset culture.
Engaging Change
Engaging Change is not a nice to have; it is imperative! High-performing leaders, teams, and organizations readily adapt to an ever-changing landscape. Rather than resisting change and blaming external circumstances for problems that emerge, high performers rely on inner strengths, positive attitudes, and quality communication to navigate the waters of change. This course is focused on building those inner elements that result in higher performance and the ability to engage in change.
Having Hard Conversations
Having Hard Conversations is about getting to results faster by managing emotions, clarifying mutual purpose, and having effective and direct conversations about tough topics. Closing the gap between issue identification and discussing tough problems is imperative to company growth and building stronger relationships. This course provides the tools to have these high-stakes conversations as honestly and respectfully as possible. Whether the issue is product feedback, concern about a critical decision, the performance of a peer, or a difficult question for management, being able to talk about tough challenges is the key to personal and professional success.
Interviewing Without Bias
This program is built on research about how to mitigate unconscious bias before and during the interview process. A fair and unbiased interview starts with careful planning and creating well-crafted interview questions. The mission-critical effort of interviewing must start with thorough preparation to be effective. Creating behavioral questions to ask each candidate is key. Before the interview, interviewers must know their area(s) of focus and determine the components of a good, excellent, or poor response. Team members can mitigate bias by asking the same question of each candidate and by rating answers consistently.
Managing Up, Down, and All-Around
Managing Up, Down, and All-Around is about influencing and inspiring insights. We all interact with people with different levels of responsibility, authority, and span of control. In this workshop, participants learn how to be a solid influence through positive, assertive communication that works at any level while building trust and respect. The primary model in this course covers five key factors that impact one’s influence-ability: Status, Certainty, Autonomy, Relatedness, and Fairness. This course is for Individual Contributors, Leaders, or Teams who are interested in understanding 1) the environment needed for brains to do their best work and 2) the vast amount of control each person has about creating this environment both for themselves and for people in varying positions of power in an organization. Participants who take this course will walk away with knowledge of how to influence a team, an organization, or a valued one-on-one relationship.
COOL Feedback
This workshop shows how to give and receive feedback, reviews neuroscience studies about what happens when we listen to it, identifies how we feel when it seems like a weapon against us and addresses how to give and receive meaningful feedback successfully. We provide honest, immediately actionable tools that help before, during, and after as a “go-to” resource for feedback discussions. Participants will use the COOL Feedback Blueprint to plan, conduct, and evaluate feedback discussions with an actual situation they’re facing.
TILT Influence
The Tilt365 Positive Influence Predictor is an interactive tool that collects real-time feedback about how those around us perceive our character strengths. And it can be used on an ongoing basis. When we use this tool to expand our positive influence, dysfunctional interactions decline, and so does the drama that drains our time, energy, and focus. Developing our positive influence increases productivity, creativity thrives, and outcomes are exponentially more generative.
Trust &
Relatability
Trust & Relatability
The foundation of any strong team is trust & reliability, focusing on strengths,
and collectively forming the connective tissue of the organization.
Active Allyship, Here & Now
Active Allyship is a workshop dedicated to diversity and inclusion engagement. While it’s critical that we recognize and understand that underrepresented minorities (URMs) have a different starting point regarding equal opportunities, they alone cannot resolve tensions brought about by inherent bias. Active Allyship aims to create a brave space for teams and managers to talk openly about the challenges experienced by URMs and anyone who has faced exclusionary circumstances and work to understand how we can face these challenges and create a different future. Stronger Allyship is the way through hardship and inequality.
Building and Repairing Trust in The Workplace
In this workshop, participants will explore what it takes to build and establish trust in any environment. The highly experiential exercises will cover the “Trust Equation” and how to apply principles to specific interactions with individuals and teams.
Changing Hearts and Minds - Going Beyond the Checkbox
Diverse thoughts are contagious and add significant value to any creative process. Embracing diversity means redefining it within the organization and perceiving it as an essential element to innovation. Organizational diversity alone is not enough; equal attention must be given to creating and cultivating an inclusive environment. Our diversity and inclusion training helps employees recognize and value individual differences to maximize all employees' potential. Participants leave the course inspired to create an inclusive and respectful environment where employees feel recognized, express their ideas, collaborate with others, and work toward common goals.
Influencing and Communicating - Leveraging DISC
Influencing and Communicating – Leveraging DISC is a workshop that delves into preferences and communication styles based on personality differences. Every person has a behavioral style that identifies "How we tend to communicate with others?" and "How we prefer others to communicate to us?" Learning the differences can increase our resonance with others and increase our influence within a team or organization. This is especially handy in conversations where people have differing opinions to share or stakes feel high.
Connect & Communicate
When we see ourselves in others and see our true selves, we can explore effective communication skills to ensure our messages resonate and build strong partnerships with others. We can play at our Best and create an environment where others are at their Best. The course is designed for virtual, hybrid, or in-person teams and is designed as a stand-alone three-hour course (that can be refined to 2 hours in length if desired) and is the “Gateway”/precursor course prior to Having Hard Conversations and Giving and Receiving Meaningful Feedback.
Intrinsic Motivators Through the Lens of DISC
Intrinsic Motivators Through the Lens of DISC: Why We Speak/Act is a workshop that builds upon the DISC: Influencing and Communicating workshop. Communication styles are based on personality differences and preferences. When we deliver “high stakes” messages or want to resonate more deeply with another individual, knowing others’ styles is critical for maximum effectiveness. It’s How we speak/act around others and flex our style to speak our message in their language that yields higher resonance. “Like attracts like,” after all.
Cultivating Emotional Intelligence
Emotional intelligence, or EQ, is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how well we perceive and express ourselves, how well we notice and perceive others' social cues, and how we can develop and maintain social and business relationships. In this workshop, you'll attain a deeper understanding of the importance of EQ ineffective performance and leadership. You'll participate in a diagnostic self-assessment to identify your strengths and areas to develop your EQ further to enhance your leadership impact. Assessments may optionally be shared within the team environment for deeper bonding and results. Individual coaching is available for customized follow-on results.
Managing Bias & Microaggressions
This program utilizes academic & industry research and real examples to illustrate four types of unconscious bias and offers actionable things you can do to increase awareness of and counteract unconscious bias. It also addresses the microaggressions that can happen in a WFH environment. With home and work, lives merged in many ways. It can inadvertently create a situation where microaggressions might increase in prevalence. To serve our diverse community, we need to be intentional in how we think about diverse perspectives, microaggressions, and unconscious bias. We all have unconscious biases—it’s hard-wired in each of us. But when unconscious biases or associations become part of the important decisions we make about the people we work with, it negatively impacts our organizations and prevents us from achieving our most innovative work. Surfacing and understanding our unconscious biases and learning how to counteract them is crucial as we strive to create an inclusive work environment.
TILT Presence
We are authors of our own lives, yet we get up daily and engage in habitual behaviors. Left unexamined, we may not realize how much of our results are determined by unconscious motives and actions. Some people take the time to reflect and change automatic habits, continuously changing over the course of life, taking responsibility for how they show up with others. In character science, we refer to this as a “growth” or an “agile" mindset. Some remain fixed over time so that others have to adjust to them, and we refer to this as a “fixed” or “rigid" mindset.
Your Unique Genius - with Strengths Finder
Playing to our strengths means a win-win situation for joy in your job journey and productivity for your company. In this ‘nothing but good news’ workshop, you’ll see what your online strengths assessment results reveal. From there, you’ll consider where you are not in alignment and perhaps find awareness of why. Each team member can see how they sit within the team and how they can bring more of their strengths forward and leverage others where needed.

Custom Facilitation - Your Team's Topic
Fast-moving companies must make well-informed, important decisions with little room for error. This often requires a rich and diverse gathering of personalities and levels to discuss, brainstorm, debate, decide and determine accountability and success factors. Outside facilitation of meetings ensures everyone gets a voice, the pace keeps moving, rat-holing is eliminated, status is leveled, conflict is managed, and results are gained. We often give pre-homework to participants to gather their pulse, or you tell us your meeting topic. Topics typically include organization pulse, strategy and goal setting, team building, bonding and fun, tough decisions, change management, new business development, and more.
Clinics - Sharing Our Wisdom With Each Other – ½ Day
The wisdom of groups may solve important issues quickly and develop bonds and trusting relationships. Discussing issues in an open, somewhat vulnerable matter with colleagues can result in fast solutions with total buy-in, especially if facilitated by a leadership coach. Whether the team is reinforcing new tools they’ve learned (e.g., Building Trust or Giving/Receiving Feedback) or is creating the space to present new issues, learning how to be an ally to others can bring richer and faster results. These sessions tend to be monthly or bi-monthly, typically with 5-20 participants.
